Here are some
common questions that we've been asked, but if you have other questions,
please feel free to E-Mail
us. We've also put together a checklist for choosing
a church, which also addresses what you should look for when
visiting any church.

thinking of visiting CrossLand. What kind of people will I meet?
What should I wear?

Im thinking of visiting CrossLand. What kind of people will
I meet? What should I wear?
CrossLand is
a small, friendly church with a relaxed atmosphere. Youll
meet people of different ages, financial means and places in their
Christian walk. Youll also see all types of dress, from jeans
to ties.

What do you have for my kids?
Children are
important at CrossLand. Nursery is provided for ages 0-2 during
the entire service. Children older than 2 stay with their parents
during the music worship to foster worshiping together as a family.
During the sermon, a pre-school class is provided for children ages
3-5. A class for children grades K-5 as well as a class for middle school is also provided during that
time. (Middle school and high school groups meet during the week.)

What exactly is a Bible church?
As an independent
Bible church, we are not formally affiliated with a denomination
or church hierarchy, which gives us independence from human tradition
and authority, and frees us to be totally dependent on Jesus Christ,
the Head of every local congregation of believers. We firmly believe
in the authority of the Bible - the God-inspired and infallible
Word of God. We have a strong sense of structure with Elders, Deacons
and church membership, balanced with an emphasis on each believer
being a priest in the body of Christ, with gifts to exercise as
a minister of Gods grace, made possible through the Cross
of Jesus Christ.

Whats the music like?
CrossLands
music, like all parts of the service, is centered around the central
message for that Sunday. Both hymns and contemporary choruses are
sung. Our sound is clean, with piano, guitar and percussion
accompanying a worship team.
